Samantha and Darius knew they were to be together but Darius's father throws him out of the pack after he attacks his father. Now 10 years later he again connects with Sam but she wants nothing to do with being a shifter. Can Darius change her mind and find out what she is hiding from. This was an excellent story and was filled with betrayal, love, sex and danger. I really enjoyed this story. )

I love this series, but this heroin made me want to smack her. Even when she finds the truth, she still doubts him. On and on. Can't stand wishy washy women. That said, I still look forward to the next book in this series. ) One person found this helpful

I loved the plot and everything about it! The couple in this novel always had it rough they were being torn apart by their parents without them even knowing. Darius always protected Sam with every breath in his body he always protected her. And protected a lot of females in his pack from his father. He would seduce them so his father wouldn't take their virginity. His father was ruthless and well outright mean. He treated Darius like s**t because he lost his mate from the birth of Darius he...

bonnie vanak is one of my \"quality\" authors. the settings are well described when necessary to set up the plot. the plot is well planned and executed. the characters whether major or minor are effectively described and plotted also. highly recommend any of her books. I have not read all of them yet, but have purchased them. ) One person found this helpful

I loved the characters and the story line. It had me worried for the couple how things would work out and it was wonderful. I have to read the whole series now. )
