About this book

Perfect for fans of first love, stolen looks, and a forbidden connection that's tied to a prophecy.

THEY COULDN’T BE TOGETHER AT THE START.

ARE THEY DESTINED TO STAY APART UNTIL THE END?

She’s the heir to the throne, yet her heart is calling after something else…

Princess Reida’s academic pursuit takes her on a journey to Incanta—a world inhabited by witches, wizards, dragon-shifters, wraiths, faeries, and irascibles. While her mind is broadened and mystified just as she’d hoped, developing feelings for a certain wizard is not part of her plan, especially not when he is her professor.

He’s no stranger to injustice, but the biggest one may be his undoing…

Professor Theodore Ischyrós is ambitious and accomplished in a way few beings are. He keeps his past close at all times and has learned to mistrust and doubt almost everyone.

The moment he lays eyes on her he knows he has been struck by magic. The moment she begins speaking he knows he is done for. He’s determined to keep professional lines clear until she graduates. But when that day comes, will she be available for him to pursue?

She’s a princess—the heir to the lycan throne, and his best friend’s cousin. And things only get worse when the heir to Incanta’s throne seems to be after her hand as well. Will Theodore be able to convince Reida to choose him, or are they destined to stay behind professional lines forever, being within reach but never together?

Nice read

May 4, 2026

It’s nice the story is progressing. I enjoyed it overall. Not as good as the other 3 but still enjoyable. A few parts dragged but the story is engaging overall. It was nice that younger characters from book 1 were tied in as well. Loved the professors and their personalities )

True Stina!

Another spellbinding, surprising addition to this series! I read 98% of this book in one night, or should I say morning. It was refreshing to follow Reida's story with its plot surprises and resolutions. I think I laughed more with this one. Stina had Liam providing comic relief. Good move! The greed, the jealousies, the love matches made this book one of my favorites in the series. )

Good book

This series is amazing. I am greatful I followed my instincts and bought them. I have read the first 3. Almost done with 4. Patiently waiting for number 5. I prefer paperback so I’m not sure when I will have the opportunity to read it. )
