I see why these series are the first to pop up for Reece Barden's work! I was introduced to her work through The Devil's Claw series that I very much enjoyed. This series has the same relatable feel as TDC did. I'm very much enjoying the array of characters and their interactions. It doesn't feel \"too busy\" while introducing quite a few intriguing characters who subtly promise their stories ahead. At first I wasn’t sure, there were some grammatical errors I noticed pretty early on but it didn’t take long at all to forget about that and fall into the story. I actually really enjoyed this one. A bit of a slow burn but spice later in the book. The MFC was actually enjoyable, and we got to see some good future Luna qualities although she’s human. Okay I don’t know why this book doesn’t have higher reviews it’s phenomenal! If you love fated mates don’t hesitate read this, don’t just add it to your TBR list. That’s what I did and I’m kicking myself. I couldn’t put this down! Hayley is a human fleeing trouble and saving the alpha and her mate may just expose her. From the first page I was just sucked into the story. This book was so good, for about 2/3's. I am excited to read the other books and see where things go with other characters we have been introduced to (especially Hayley's sisters).
