The Alpha's Curse (Fated Destinies Book 3)

by Heather K. Carson

About this book

I never expected life to be easy...

As the youngest female Alpha in the region, I had to fight to keep my title and claim my pack. Through blood and sweat, I dragged Cerberus out of the dark ages and built a safe haven. I was proud of everything I’d done.

Everything changed on what was supposed to be the best day of any shifter’s life.

All the walls I’d built came crashing down with one look at my fated mate.

Never once in my wildest nightmares, did I expect this dark and unhinged Alpha to be mine. I had a pack to lead. A future full of promise if I just worked hard enough. I didn’t have time for this twisted love story. I didn’t have time for him even though he got under my skin in a way no one else had ever done.

The fates weren’t waiting for us to figure out a happily ever after though. A dark storm was brewing on the horizon. Our entire way of life was being threatened. And it was up to me to prepare my pack for the fight of our lives.

But I don’t know which war will be harder to win–the one on the battlefield or the one in my heart.

Each book in the Fated Destinies series is a full length novel told in dual POV where the main hero and heroine get their HEA. This steamy series offers spice without sacrificing the plot. Warning: These books do end on a slight cliffhanger once the individual plots are resolved. Scroll up now and start reading to find out how these fated destinies are interwoven into the overall series.

best shifter trilogy series ever

October 24, 2025

I thought I had found all of the wolf shifter stories out there, but this trilogy was the best I’ve ever read It was written well I love the character characters And it was nice for a change to have a book that was longer than 160 or 200 pages I’ve gotten to where I won’t even order those books anymore But of all the ones I’ve read I have to say best best ever I’m gonna look for what Ever Heather Carson has to read and I’m going to get it But please, Miss Carson never write the boots and...

The Fated Destinies trilogy is a thrilling mix of magic, romance, and adventure. I couldn't put this series down. The world and character development were absolutely impressive. Each novel takes readers to a wonderfully crafted environment. Fans of paranormal romance will appreciate the series' wonderful balance of tension, tragic scenes, and interesting characters. *SPOILER* Please stop reading after the spoiler tag if you do not want to be spoiled. I won’t spoil a big plot for anyone wanting...

Good series

I enjoyed reading these books. I recommend reading them in order, but each book has a clear ending with a larger storyline cliffhanger. Multiple points of view, well written and developed polt and characters. Little spice. I enjoyed the dialog between the characters. At many points i was, Iaughing out loud. The author did a great job of bringing me into her world and keeping my interest. ) One person found this helpful

Wow! Great series!

I was a little torn on this 3rd one- I wanted it to be my favorite, since the hero was named Jareth,( lovely nod to the Goblin king🥰) but it really had some ups n downs! I didn't care for the beginning, I thought they were both kinda childish, which was disappointing, then it got a lot better, then just when I thought they would \"get together \", all hell broke loose and he got captured! I was pretty disturbed at the lengths the author went to in the torture of the hero, I was actually...

This Book Wraps up the trilogy Perfectly.

The Alpha's Curse (Fated Destinies #3) by Heather K. Carson is the final book in the Fated Destinies trilogy. It definitely wraps up all the loose ends from the previous two stories. The books main back story has you turning the pages to see what happens next. This book wraps up the story and drama between the shifters and the humans nicely. The spice is very minimal however for the spice it lacks it makes up for in the intense story line. This book had me in tears and definitely has an epic...
