Wow, Cass story was the one I was least expecting to read and surprisingly the one I liked the most. I think that not having had much of her in the previous books helped a lot. In this book I was able to see more internally who she is and what happend to her. And then we have Raz, I totally fell in love with this demon. Out of all the mates, Raz is the one that has captured my heart in a big way. I loved them all, but I think it's the knowledge that he is (in my opinion) the strongest mate but...

I legit devoured this book in one sitting. I absolutely love this series, and I was so excited for Cassandra's story and it did not disappoint. I love how Amara Rae writes her characters, she does not hold back, she isn't afraid to write about sensitive and hard subjects, and she writes them well. Cass had some really dark history. A good portion of this book was her dealing with her trauma. Raziel was able to help her reach her full potential. This one is slow burn. Hot. Dark. Good book! )

Cassandra and Raziel are everything in this book! Raz knew Cass was his mate long before she did, including when he agreed to her bargain. She felt the pull, but was so disconnected because of her trauma that she didn't recognize it initially.
