Taming The Alpha’s Daughter (A Dark fantasy romance) (FATED SERIES Book 7)

by Jessica Hall

About this book

She was raised in a cage. Now she’s trapped in his arms. But can love heal the broken?

For four years, Alpha Eziah has hunted for his mate--a woman he has never met, a bond that was meant to complete him.

When he finds her, he doesn’t expect a broken woman, hidden away in a cage, her mind shattered, her wolf fragmented beyond recognition.

Temperance has been suffering at the hands of her own blood. Seven years of torment. Seven years of isolation. Seven years of forgetting what it meant to be free.

Now, Eziah wants to set her free.

But Temperance doesn’t recognize him. Doesn’t trust him. Doesn’t even believe she is his mate.

Her wolf is wild, unstable, dangerous. And when her nightmares take form, Eziah realizes that rescuing her from her prison was just the beginning.

Because Temperance is caged by something far worse than walls.

She is trapped within her own mind.

And the monster inside her? It is waiting to take over.

Author’s Note – Before You Read

Recommended for 18+ readers. This is not a love story wrapped in softness. A female lead who has endured the worst, a mate who will wait as long as it takes, and a bond that neither of them expected. In a world of gods, dark magic, and the brutal scars of the past, she is forced to navigate power, trauma, and the terrifying idea of trusting again.

Trigger Warning: This book contains themes of SA, trafficking, PTSD, and emotional recovery, alongside shifter bonds, divine interference, and the slow, aching process of healing. This is a romance that doesn’t rush, doesn’t force--but patiently waits for the moment when fear turns to strength. If you’re drawn to protective heroes, powerful but wounded heroines, and love that is earned, not demanded—then step carefully, because this story will break before it mends.

This book was long but you finally get answers from the books before. This was a great read. Now I wish there was a book for the kids. I really do love Kaif. )

Really good story, missed more of the characters

I have been so excited for this story! I need to say that off the bat. Jessica Hall’s Fated to the Alpha series was the first book I read that introduced me to the paranormal romance genre a couple of years ago. The reasons I fell in love with her original book did not shine through as strongly (for me) in this book. True to her style, the story is full of twists and turns. You will not want to stop reading because you’ll be holding your breath wondering what’s going to happen next. That being...

I am simply dying for the next book! I can’t wait to find out what happens next to these characters that I love so much. Great writing and boy does it get steamy in these books! I’ve read every single one I there is and can’t get enough! Bravo to the author! )

Taming the Alpha's Daughter

Well that was a crazy ending to this crazy story. I absolutely love this entire series 😍 we learn about not just one Moon Goddess but 3 and how they become one. We have curses fueled by jealousy that span generations. God's fixing the wrongs they created. But above it all the one constant was that you never risk the mate bond. That love is always the answer and that your partners are always your anchor. I swear so much happened in this book, I was wondering where all of this was going, but...

Last book with all the solutions

I'm glad we got all the answers and all the solutions in that book. However, I must say that in this book I found it difficult to keep track of all the people, so I wouldn't have made a single person over earlier in the series, I hadn't been able to keep all the characters apart. Because with all those names (which all have two names in the form of their human name AND their other identity's name. A list of names at the back of the book would be great. Here are a few examples... (Name -...
