Star Cursed: Zodiac Wolves, Book 2

by Elizabeth Briggs

About this book

My fated mate rejected me, and now he wants me back. I'd rather die.

I'm being held captive by my worst enemies, the Leo pack. My fated mate is their new alpha, and he says he has big plans for me. For us.

But no matter how much the mate bond tries to convince me he's the one, there's another man I can't stop thinking about: the alpha of the lost pack. My new pack.

Kaden thinks I went willingly with my mate and turned my back on him. I don't know if he's coming for me, but I'm not giving up 'til I find my way back to him - and to my new family.

I'm an Ophiuchus. I'm moon-touched. And my enemies have underestimated me for far too long.

Star Cursed is the second book in a scorching hot wolf shifter series, perfect for fans of Jaymin Eve, Laura Thalassa, and Amelia Hutchins.

• MY MATE •

May 21, 2024

| fantasy romance | shifter romance | pack life | witches | alpha | wolf shifters | pack dynamics | intrigue | mystery | singular POV | shes MINE | hes MINE | marking | claiming | magic | zodiac signs | fated mates | I am quite literally eating this series up. It is so intriguing to me and I just have to know how this story ends. I love the premise, I love the characters, and I really love the pack dynamics. This is truly one of my first shifter, specifically wolf shifter, reads and it is very...

Major Cliffhanger

November 1, 2021

I expected the cliffhanger, but it was still a doozy! I really enjoyed this book. The plot moves fast. I was really drawn into the action, the politics, the plotting, the battles, etc. I did feel a little frustrated with the romance aspect, which is why it’s 4 stars, instead of 5. I guess, at this point, I am annoyed that Ayla and Kaden don’t talk to each other like adults. It’s all guessing how the other feels. He still keeps things from her or doesn’t bother to tell her things until pretty...

Great follow up to book 1!

November 12, 2021

Seriously! Why do I read incomplete series! SMH! SMH! SMH! I hate waiting! Now I have to hang on to this dang cliff until dec...jan...? Gah! Elizabeth Briggs writes it all in this second book. Torture, pain, dark rituals (the binding ritual with Jordan had me holding my breath! Trigger warning potential there.) betrayal, reunion, love, heat and so much more! We finally get somewhere with the Moon Witches but you really need to hold on through out the whole book for it. Kinda annoying because...

Another excellent read!!!!

July 20, 2022

This book popped up as an advert on my FB feed. Of course the algorithm knows what I like to read and of course I clicked on the link and well then, I figured I'd read book 1. -- This review will cover all 3 books of the series that are out as of today and will be copied and pasted to the other book reviews. I was really pleasantly surprised. Shifter stories tend to have super young heroines - high schoolish, with high schoolish alphas and they always read like they were written by a student in...

Good Book, But Had Some Issues

November 5, 2021

The second book in this series was okay, but not as good as the first. I liked the story and some of the new developments, but I did see most of them coming since the first book. The reason for the three stars is because there was way too much relationship angst that I found annoying and inappropriate, rather than interesting. I liked that the MC’s finally developed a relationship and I don’t mind some steamy scenes in a book, but there was way too much sex to the point where I found myself...
