WARNING: This doesn’t quite end with a cliffhanger, but there’s definitely a book hook! It rates a 3/5 on my trauma scale, so nothing that sets the teeth gnashing, but just so you’re warned! It’s good but I feel like it needs a disclosure: Vale doesn’t just have one mate… she has three. So all of the sex scenes involve 3-4 people. I was not prepared for that and I think it’s a little much ) One person found this helpful

Magic. Dragons. A curse that starts it all. This story is packed full of danger, thrills, shocking events and a whole mess of 'wtf' moments. But, it also has a lot of heart. Vale is my new spirit animal. She is a strong, intelligent, spirited young woman who has been through the ringer a few times. She's slaving away in the mines when her sister is put in danger. I’m feeling a reading slump and what better thing to fix it than a why choose dragon romantasy? This is very easy to read with faced paced writing, multiple pov, more focus on spice and jealous MMCs than a deep plot, and ends on a minor cliffhanger. Read this if you’re in the mood for… - why choose - dragon shifters - fated mates - the chosen one - hidden magic - bad guy rebellion Overall, I enjoyed the story! It was a bit predictable and expected but that didn’t take away from my enjoyment....
