Fortuna's entire life has changed.
She has no idea how to balance her new responsibilities and who she used to be. There are hundreds of faeries in her head, her brother seems to have lost touch with reality, and a werewolf won’t leave her side. Maybe the utter lack of control is why her abilities seem to be changing as well.
Then there’s Collith - enigmatic, beautiful, and infuriating. He’s not only a king of the faeries she despises so much, but he’s also her mate. And his gentle pursuit causes confusion in her normally unwavering relationship with Oliver.
As a result of it all, Fortuna now finds herself surrounded by new enemies, as well as ones from her past. The question isn’t whether she is strong enough to make change in such a corrupt court; it’s whether she will survive long enough to do it.

I'm mad for faeries, so Fortuna Sworn has been on my radar since the author reached out to me last summer. Unlike that first book, I purchased this one myself and stayed up from 3 am to 8 am reading it. I was super ready to hop back into the world and see where things went. I wouldn't say this book is exactly plot driven--there's no greater goal in mind in the overarching story; like, if book #1 was \"rescue brother from faeries\" this is sort of the \"what happens now?\" part of the story--but...

Series Info/Source: This is the second book in the Fortuna Sworn series. I bought a copy of this book for my Kindle. Story (3/5): Now, aside from the above complaints below I really enjoyed this….especially the first 75% of the book or so. I really loved the first book in this series and was absolutely adoring this book as well right up until the end. I thought the ending was not only depressing but kind of out of the blue; suddenly there are demons and zombies and I was a bit confused where...

This series is amazing! I went straight from the first book to the third in days. The series is world building that is so easy to imagine in your head it is like your watching a movie. The character building is epic, the twist and turns are gut wrenching that leaves you in disbelief. Fortuna is a strong heroine and makes very impulsive decisions but they are all done with a good heart, the outcome just doesn't always reflect that. Colith, oh my lord, I dont know where to start with him. You may...

Spoilers ahead!!! I thought the first book was well done and enjoyable, though still a bit derivative of other works. This book was all around disappointing. I enjoyed the writing, but there wasn’t much of a story line or solid plot. It felt like the author had too many ideas and decided to throw them all in the book. Additionally, Fortuna seems to have zero growth. She would do anything for the people she cares about, except curb her temper or not spout off with the first thing that came into...

This book was such a wild ride and everything a sequel should be! AND THE ANGST. Team Collith y’all, Team Collith 😂😍 Really though, I enjoyed this so much. No longer is Fortuna relegated to the Unseelie Court and boy do we get to see her really come into her own as a character. There is so much that happens in this book, but I am a sucker for steamy slow burn romance and this one delivered. We see a much different side of the Unseelie King in this one and let’s just say I was here for it. I...
