With Hearts of Flame (Deluxe Limited Edition): A Dark Academia Romantasy Novel of Vampires and Dragons Featuring Stenciled Edges and Illustrated Endpapers (Bloodwing Academy, 4)
Briar Boleyn
by Lindsey Devin
Nobody told her dragons use libraries.
Or that one of them would ruin her filing system and her entire life plan.
She's the head librarian who alphabetizes her trauma.
He's the dragon alpha who crash-landed into her carefully ordered world ten minutes before closing.
Neither expected a thunderstorm, an ancient mystery, or feelings too big to fit on an index card.
✨ Perfect for readers who love: cozy chaos, grumpy/sunshine energy, nerd x nerd fated mates, and dragons who say "please" when they destroy your cataloguing system ✨ and for all the AuDHD readers, pattern-brained people, and anyone who organises their feelings into a spreadsheet.

Brought tears of joy! Plot was predictable but the journey exciting. Characters were believable and well developed. I could see the castle in Edinburgh in my mind. )

Extremely well written. Remarkable characters and locations. The action is fast paced and comes at you from nowhere. The soul searching that Artemis and Arthur both endure builds a rich back story. And the unfolding love story keeps you on the edge of your seat. A really great read. )

The premise of this book was a fun detour from the usual alpha dragons that claw and fight their way to the top. I really liked Arthur and Artemis, but there were some character traits for Artemis that didn’t track for me. For example, why would a brilliant scholar resort to thinking swear words. Especially when she quotes Homer when she’s in danger. A few errors generally get a pass from my inner editor, but there were enough subject/verb disagreements that it bothered me.
