I love all her books in this series. I love the characters because they are so well-rounded. She uses humor, conflict, romance and changing setting to keep the story fresh and interesting. She also uses lots of detail about characters, their interactions and the settings. The only negative is that the books need better revising and editing. Soooo many mistakes in grammar and usage. ) One person found this helpful

Lots of steps forward in this amazing, complex story with amazing characters. Love that each new book brings a new couple together while the overall story of an unknown evil force is trying to win power over the 4 city states. These are run by shifters, vampires, witches & fae. Great mystery, intricate storylines & characters that make you laugh and cry. Don't know how the author keeps it all straight! But I am eternally grateful she does. This is my all time favorite book series & I LOVE Maren...

Just want to start by saying I love everything this author writes so I may be a bit bias lol. Okay so honestly an easy read and got through it same day pretty quick. As with all the books in this series there is a lot of laughter and love. There was one heated scene which honestly is kind of shocking bc usually there are at least two love scenes in her books. With that being said what the book lacked in spice it made up for with affection. While I gave it 5 stars I can totally see others...

Another terrific installment to the B&B series. I was so excited that we finally made it to Strom. Keep. I have been waiting to experience more of the Ironwoods and Ashleigh brothers ever since Law stomped into the stories. As in the previous books, the main couple have their own sweet storyline.
