About this book

- [x]

USA Today bestselling author Cynthia St. Aubin is back for Love Lies, the third book in her unforgettable supernatural mystery series!

It's bad enough that the world's most powerful vampires are following gallery assistant Hanna Harvey like a cloud of undead mosquitos. But finding one of their heads in the trunk of her Mustang? There's not enough cheese in the world to unsee that.

Her stud-muffin alpha werewolf boss, Mark Abernathy, suspects that someone stashing vampy bits in Hanna's immediate vicinity is part of a plot to set off an inter-species war...with Hanna's own destiny at its heart.

Getting to the bottom of Hanna's headless guests will mean fending off the dogged investigation of Detective James Morrison―now suspended from the force and hell-bent on exposing the secrets that could not only destroy Abernathy, but everyone he's sworn to protect.

Now facing a force older and more sinister than any she's encountered, the stakes have never been higher for Hanna, who must finally decide to ascend to her rightful place in the pack, or risk losing everything―and everyone―she loves.

Great series!

So much to take in! There is so much going on it almost made me anxious, then I would re-read a few paragraphs a little slower. Lol! Then I was able to take it in & follow the story better! It really gets you thinking! )

Abernathy gives me whiplash with so many mood changes

So, I really like almost all of the characters. I love the way the author writes, and how Hanna's internal monolog is so funny. Abernathy, however, pretty much drives me crazy. He runs hot and cold constantly. He keeps secrets from Hanna on a daily basis. He's just a lousy leading man. The ending felt very rushed on this one. ) 2 people found this helpful

Great little series!!

I !over these books! The snarky comments, her trying to delay the inevitable. And sexy Abernathy..oh my!! I felt sorry for Morrison but hey, life sucks sometimes. I loved that she found a brother and she's a cat person. What's not to love? The crazy characters thru out the book kept it light and funny. It was a refreshing read. )

Great Read!

I’m sad that this is the last. I want to follow more of Hanna and Mark’s story. What happened with Steve and Shayla. And what about Morrison? Too many stories that need to be told. But a really great book! )

series starts out great.

Second volume is very good as well. Third volume fizzled out. The last third of the third volume me was very rushed, like she needed to finish in a hurry. The events were cut short. In trying not to spoil it I can only say it was disappointing. I don’t think the final get together of H and h was good. It was rushed and unbelievable. Hero did a 180 without any angst at all. One short paragraph of two or three short sentences. Yes I understand why he did. Yes we all knew he would. It was...
