After being cheated on one too many times, Hayley left life as she knows it to come to Hallow’s Cove for a chance at love…. With a monster! Swearing off all humans, she looks for her monster mate but she doesn’t seem to have any luck with them. Luckily for her, her monster mate is actually just next door in the form of a raccoon shifter. It only took one sniff of her 🩲 to realize she was his. But she is perfect and kind, while he is just a trash loving raccoon 🦝. This was a fun quirky book...

To understand someone’s weirdness, and to love it is a whole new level of love and appreciation. This book is that and so much more. From plus size rep in both the FMC and MMC, I couldn’t have asked for a better depiction without it being a focal focus of the book. The silliness added a touch of realness to the romance genre that I rarely see in this volume. What a sweet and spicy read! )

4.5 stars! This was such a fun and flirty read! Hayley has moved to a new town hoping to meet a monster mate, since the humans she's dated have been the worst, but so far she hasn't had any luck. Jake is odd, even in a monster town, and loves to turn other people's trash into treasure to. But he isn't ashamed of who he is and his other half, Beans the Racoon, fully supports his trashy ways. I saw this book on BookTok and got super intrigued when I heard “raccoon shifter. This was my first time reading this authors work and I enjoyed it. This book follows Hayley, who has recently moved to Hallow’s Cove in search of her forever love, and Jake the town weirdo. This book gave me banter, humor and pretty decent spicy scenes (though some of the dialog in these scenes made me cringe).
