This is a very good book. It's not just a \"shifter romance\". Like all good paranormal books it tackles difficult subject matter while the main characters figure out how to be in a relationship. It tackles the trauma of losing family suddenly and the devastating grief that goes with it and the struggle forward and through \" survivor guilt \".and the struggle to make it through. The author also has surprisingly insight into life as a \" differently able \" individual. Although the character...

I had no idea when I started reading this book how much emotion it would drag from me. This isn’t just a story about two people falling in love. This is a story about heartbreak, sorrow, joy, yearning and healing. All of the characters in this book are on their own journeys through the darkness and the author is able to pull so much real emotion from their struggles. I have cried more reading this book more than almost any book I’ve ever read. It’s just so real. Although I’ve never had the...

This was a good book. Sometimes I felt like she was too wordy, took too long to say something. The story was very intense, but uplifting. I liked how she used some of today's lingo, buy did not like how she kept referring to Nox as \"they\". That was initially confusing and was not necessary for the story. And it stopped the flow every time. ) 4 people found this helpful
