I think it took place in a different universe than the first book because the werewolves and other species didn't have the same characteristics as in the first book. But the story was sweet and enjoyable. I think it's time for me to move to a small mountain town too. I want a handsome werewolf boyfriend as well. 8/10. )

Quick, low angst read between Mason, a werewolf, and Julian, a human. I loved Mason’s awkwardness in the beginning and Julian’s fearlessness. The plot wasn’t very deep, not in a bad way, but there wasn’t any external conflicts, so really is just a fluffy little love story of these two coming together. Cute, light read and would read more in this series ) One person found this helpful

The world that was established in book 1 does not continue in book 2. They read like they were written by 2 different authors with 2 sets of rules. Important!!!!! Mason (MCs best friend) from book 1 is not the same Mason (MC) in book 2. Talk about utter confusion. I started this book thinking that it was the same character. The differences just kept going... In book 1 mates are sealed with a ceremony and a bite, but the mate stays human. In book 2 a bite will change the mate into a wolf. Book 2...

Easy read, with nothing overly dramatic, I love that, its an easy read, just enjoyable content, hope you add on a second book where h accepts the bite! )
