This is the fifth book in the series. I would really recommend that you start with the first book. Like so many readers I was very curious about Jason and Bailey’s story! And after reading it, I can say that with each book I love this world more and more! Bailey and Jason’s journey to happiness was emotional, difficult and intense but it was necessary to understand themselves and each other better. I usually enjoy these books but Bailey pissed me off completely the way her character acts is annoying, you wanted the man and now got the man but acts like a child because he hurt your feelings. Now if it was a human woman I could understand but this girl is half wolf, live her life with the reality of this happening and yet she acts like a immature child when the man pushed her away to protect her feelings. A great addition to the Savage Alpha series. Very different from the previous books with its very slow burn and angst. Loved the relationship between each of the characters. Jase being driven by his biologic surges while Bailey was dealing with her strong emotional needs. The two of them eventually coming to understand that even fated mates need time and patience. This book was AMAZING!!!! I fell in love with this series after the first book, Wild. Since then, this series has taken us all on a roller coaster of emotions, drama, trauma and love! This highly anticipated story of Bailey and Jase’s journey DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I couldn’t put it down and read it in less than 48 hours 🥰 ) One person found this helpful
