Excuse me if you find me rambling, however I often take the elbow route to my @$$hole, so bare with me. I stumbled upon this book after receiving an e-reader as a gift. I assumed I had given up on vampire romances when I couldn't finish Twilight, nor Vampire Kisses (this one was just a tad too drawn out) but contrary to the past I sped through all four books unable to put them down nor process my excitement for reading them. I thought I ran out of surprises until I got to the last line in book...

For the past three days I have read all four books and honest to God, Jemma freakin’ Blackburn is going to be the death of me. I’m pretty sure she cried through the whole entire period of her life from the start of her first day at a new school to the very end, and not only did she cry, but so did I through the whole freakin’ series. First, I want to say how proud I am of the author, an indie author/mom who found a way to continue the characters I’ve invested time into via the 3 previous books. I’m sure the balance of life didn’t make that easy, I barely want to do laundry - let alone write a novel. Next, this book finds a way to take the typical dark romance genre & make it exciting again. Wow! Just Wow!!! ALL of these books had me completely captivated. I read/listened to all four books in a little over a week. For someone like me that says A Lot!
