I like the storyline of the series, but this particular book in the series frustrated the tar out of me! Rinse repeat. It felt like our author had to keep reiterating info already stated IN THIS BOOK. Halway through, I lost my patience, and I literally scanned over pages and pages of repeated thoughts. My husband bought these books on a whim last year for Christmas for me and this series has consumed me. I am in love with this series. I had no idea it was going to be a 5 book series but it’s worth every second I read. Without any spoilers it’s about a girl on the run from her evil father with a built in bestie traveling through different realms to get away and she finds her self in Bride trials to become a bride and find a mate while also fighting to stay alive. So many twist and turns! )

I love this series and can’t wait until the book in March 2025. I usually will not start a series until all the books are released because I hate cliffhangers (I just don’t like to wait, impatient). Anyway, it’s a fun read….plenty of sass, sneakiness, a little blood and gore and quite a bit of passion (not pg-13 for sure)…just a good fun read. I read to get away from everyday life and if a book is good welll I read fast. I finished the four books in a week….so I guess it lived up to what i look...

Shades of Ruin and Magic book 4. The crew continues to battle in all its WTF glorious craziness. Love this cast of characters. Twisty, angsty, dramatic and sexy. Simply a brilliantly written book. This series should be a movie. Onto the next awesome book in this series. )
