A standalone story in the Wall Street Journal best-selling Shadow Beast Shifters world. Best heard after Compelled for storyline continuity.
Samantha, of the Clarity shifters, has a secret. And it’s going to cost her everything.
To save the most important person in her life, Samantha promises to form a mate bond with her pack’s future leader. If she can produce one heir, she’ll finally have her freedom.
During the ceremony, the leader invokes the Shadow Beast’s name, calling the powerful and scary god right into their midst. A god with an even scarier mate. Mera, a shifter Samantha once counted as friend, never lets anything rest. She demands her secrets be revealed, and in doing so, uncovers a way to save them all from this fate.
And it turns out that the Clarity pack leader isn’t Samantha’s greatest challenge.
It’s one of Shadow's brothers: Len, prince of the Silver Lands. The fae, with the knowledge to save the one she cherishes above all others, forces Clarity to tie herself to him and Faerie.
A world that she’s long feared. A world that could steal her heart.
And her soul.
If the prince doesn’t take them first.
This is a standalone in the Shadow Beast world and does not end on a cliffhanger. It is advised to listen to the first five books in the Shadow Beast world first (Rejected, Reclaimed, Reborn, Deserted, Compelled) to get the most enjoyment from the story. Not required though. This is a forgotten-love story, with action, snark, anti-heroes, and steam. It is recommended for listeners 18 and up due to storyline and situations.

A six book series that was written well wasn’t too overfilled with porn instead of a good story. The story is still took precedence. The descriptive writing made me able to see the pictures of what was going on in my head almost nothing left out anywhere. I’d like to see another two or three books in this particular series. I think there’s room for that following the angel. Their fault, warrior brother to come back and claim his mate who also seems to be on earth somewhere Another book filled...

I hope this is not the end of this world! I absolutely loved all the characters, male & female! Of course, we want to know what happens to Gallei. And Allister. And the 2 unknown forces. It doesn't seem fair to leave them out. All in all, the 1st book was still my favorite. Shadow is just my kinda man. However, they are all delightful. Funny, original, super spicy and romantic. I dont even know where I'm gonna go from here! Lol ) 3 people found this helpful

Okay... First things first... I loved this series...and I was fortunate enough to catch them while they were all available to read back to back and not have to wait for any release dates... So for sure a win. There was nothing boring to me about any of the characters -each came with their strengths and weaknesses. And while I loved the series... I felt the sex scenes were a bit too drawn out for me... NOT that it is a bad thing for everyone... (This is just a personal preference so I wasn't...
