Feral Sins: Phoenix Pack, Book 1

by Suzanne Wright

About this book

When female wolf shifter Taryn Warner first encounters Trey Coleman, an alpha male wolf shifter with a dangerous reputation, she’s determined to resist his charms. After all, Trey - who was only fourteen when he defeated his own father in a duel, winning the right to be alpha of his pack - can’t have anything to offer the talented healer besides trouble, or so she thinks. Taryn finds herself drawn in by Trey’s forceful demeanor and arctic-blue eyes, and she eventually agrees to enter an uneasy alliance with him. If the two succeed in convincing their respective packs that they’ve chosen each other as mates, Trey will win valuable political allies, while Taryn will escape an odious arranged mating.

But there are a lot of potential pitfalls to this plan - including the very real possibility that the wolf shifters, overwhelmed by their growing attraction to each other, will be unable to maintain the clear heads needed to pull off the deception.

5 Stars!

ATTENTION ALL V******* (and possibly some p*******): IF YOUR OWNER READS THIS BOOK YOU WILL TINGLE, YOU WILL PULSE AND YOU WILL BE SET ON FIRE! Just be thankful that I warned all of you. K. Taryn Warner is a latent wolf. She is also snarky, speaks before she thinks and doesn't take much s*** from those around her. Her dad is an a** and she is trying to find a way out of a forced mating. Enter Trey Coleman, alpha leader of his own pack. He has a bargain for Taryn. They are to pretend to \"meet\"...

Good Updated Story!

So there is hot, and then, there is HOT! I think this book fits the HOT description, with no reservations. A wolf pack full of super hot guys? Yes, that’s part of what makes this hot-but it’s the sexy scenes that pushes it into HOT territory. Taryn Warren is a wolf shifter that can’t shift. She’s the daughter of the alpha and since she is latent, he treats her horribly, and considers her an embarrassment to him. He’s arranged a mating for her with Roscoe, an alpha that gets his kicks from...

Not Your Typical Wolf-Shifter Story -- a good thing that!

I won't go through the synopsis because it's already been done. I've developed a keen interest in shifter romances over the last few months and I downloaded Feral Sins onto Kindle from a free e-book site. If you're interested, it's called e-reader love. But I digress... Well, put in this way, I would've honestly paid $ for this. Even so, the price now is more than reasonable. Suzanne Wright maintains an interesting balance between a love story between two stubborn and strong-willed characters...

Amazing, but just read it once.

My suggestion, but it on Kindle, read it once, then return for a refund. Also, don't bother with the other books in the series, they're all a carbon copy of this with different names. Teryn and Jamie (the lead in book 2) are nearly identical characters. I honestly couldn't tell the difference for most of the book. I first got ahold of this book when I was eighteen, and at the time, I loved it. It was hot, witty, full of good humor and a great plot. I loved it so much that I kept re-reading it...

Dominant alpha Shifter romance

December 14, 2018

I purchased this book a while ago but was yet to write a review. I've reread the Shifter romance Feral Sins several times in the meanwhile and it has a firm place in my Favourites folder. The author's books are well written and the interplay between the alpha male and female is humorous, in depth and full of steam without taking too much away from the story. Taryn was a mostly likeable character. She's strong, independent and has tonnes of attitude to throw around. Treated poorly by her pack,...
