For starters, I have been in a book slump for a couple months, I haven't been able to focus on a book in what feels like forever (my fellow readers probably understand that) and this book. THIS BOOK! I read book 1 with Brielle and Kane and absolutely loved it too, but this one has become my favorite!! I loved that it was a continued storyline from Book 1, just a different couple. I adored the story of Shay and Dirge. I thought it was a great continuation of the first book and liked the growth the characters underwent. I wished for a bit more of the history of Dirge’s family so am still hoping for that when the story picks up again. Overall it was a fun read with some nice spice tossed in there! ) One person found this helpful

So Now we have Brielle's story. She meets her mate As he crashes into her to protect her, But he is a wolf that doesn't change into a man.He's feral And everybody thinks he's a danger. But Keep him away from his faded mate and he Is about to become even more dangerous. This book was great. It was exciting And it had the characters from the 1st book and how they're on a journey to find out information and of course The whole group is there. I love Shay's character and Dirge as well. And my heart...

The connection between Shay and woofie Dirge is adorable. I can just see him in wolf form following her everywhere. The bath scene is priceless! But when he takes on human form, the action really ramps up. The story then goes from devastating to ethereal. Good job, Author! ) One person found this helpful

I enjoyed the story. You definitely should read the series in order so it makes sense. There were a couple of things that came as a surprise. I still have unanswered questions from the first book. There were several full and partial revelations and confirmations. This is an adult read with language and scenes. )
