Over all, I liked this series. Good solid writing with only a few type o's and cliche lines. I assume that the writer is from the UK, she has a formal writing style that I like. The characters were interesting, but once you get to books 4 and 5 things started to drag a little for me. There is a sad part in book 4 that was unexpected and book 5 to me was just a little odd because the American dragon (who is apparently very old) finds his mate in Wales who is basically just a kid. This series was an emotional masterpiece. There was so much action with twists and turns keeping you on the edge of your seat. I laughed and cried. Wow! Incredible stories with well developed characters. The love was felt through the writing...the families loves and the mating bonds. Very entertaining series.
