Fate Hollow Academy: Term 2: Fate Hollow Academy, Book 2

by Lyra Winters

About this book

Welcome to Fate Hollow Academy, a place where supernaturals come together to train for war on humans.

Humans and dragons alike had declared war in Kalista. Every supernatural must stand and fight, but would it be unified or did the dragon cult hold their allegiance?

Humans have been experimenting on their own, creating something more mechanical than human. Dragons have been making alliances with other supernaturals under the guise of fighting our mutual enemy, but their agenda was darker than that.

All I wanted was to hide away with my mates, wrapped in the love we shared. It was a fantasy I desperately yearned for, but with every turn, a new enemy revealed themself.

Fate Hollow Academy Term 2 is book two in the Fate Hollow Academy Series. It is a paranormal why-choose romance with all characters over the age of twenty-one. It contains mature subject matter that may not be suitable for all listeners including strong language, violence, torture, mention of parental loss, and some sexually explicit content.

Amazing

December 27, 2022

Oh my goodness, this book is life. The characters are amazing and the world building is on point. There is drama, war, adventure, travel to new realms, and of course romance. Wren and her mates got thrown into a war between humans and supernaturals with there also being a war between the dragons and basically every other supernatural. New alliances and enemies will form before the war is fought and done. Bonds will form and new threats will come to light. Old enemies will be remembered and new...

Good but irritating

December 12, 2024

This is my second time reading this series, but it’s been over a year. I love that it’s packed with action, but I also hate it. I feel so bad for certain mates because Wren is always spending time with Rowan, Damien, and Thorn, but barely spends time with Kian, Rhett, and Lachlan. It irritates me that she is powerless to fight. She’s supposed to be a strong female, especially considering she has extremely strong mates, but she freezes any time she’s supposed to fight. She’s mentally strong...

keeps getting good

The stakes felt higher in this book than the last. The tone isn’t crazy dark but the plot has definitely thickened and the dragon cult is creepy as heck. But lots of cute moments as well! (The squirrel friend is too funny) Can’t wait to see what a next for our gang. )

Smut with a side of plot

May 11, 2024

The smut scenes were A1 and amazingly written. The rest of the book was meh. The writing was kind of off grammatically, for example repeating words in the same sentence. It was throwing me off while I was reading, which is the only reason it was an issue for me. The vibes in this book are great aside from the grammar stuff. The only other things that bothered me were (1)Alister completely not being part of the story for like half the book. We see him in his apartment with Wren and then he isn’t...

I love this series

May 29, 2022

love the world that Lyra Winters has created. I love the characters, especially Damien…who doesn’t. Welcome back to Fate Hollow Academy where supernaturals go to learn how to fight and control their magic for the upcoming war with the humans. We don’t get so many classes in the book as we did the last but we still see how the students education is progressing. Offensive fighting, continuation on how to use different crystals and so on. I loved the interactions between the characters. I love how...
