As much as i loved the first book, i loved this one even more. Which is first for me. I have never liked the second book more than the first. I have to admit, that after reading the first book, I had high expectations for the sequel. Not nessecaraly looking for something different. Edge of Oblivion is a paranormal-romance that's #2 of a series. I haven't read #1. The second is obviously a continuation of the first and you feel like you are being dropped into the middle of the story. The author relies heavily on the assumption that you've read the first, but tells you enough to set this one up if you're willing to just shrug your shoulders over the gaps of information and simply move on. If I had reviewed the first book in the Night Prowler series Shadows Edge,I would have given it 5 stars. This book, Edge of Oblivion, I would give 6 stars to if I could. It was just that good. The story was so imaginative when it came to the world of the Ikati that the reader will feel like they are a part of it. Ok so this is a serious Shifter book, not one of those sex crazed things. It is the second in what looks like being a really good series and well worth the read. The only problem I had with the book is the issue of wounded shifters not being able to shift.
