by Sabrina Blackburry

About this book

- [x]

For fans of romantasy focusing on women discovering their powers, like Onyx Storm and Fall of Ruin and Wrath.

Sabrina Blackburry’s epic romantasy series continues with the story of a young woman who is drawn to the sea—and the mysterious man who beckons her home.

After losing her job and apartment, Maddie’s world is falling apart—until a chance encounter with a magnetic stranger changes everything. Caspian is tall, captivating, and seems to understand Maddie in a way that no one else does.

When he reveals he’s from Atlantis—and that Maddie is a siren—she doesn’t know what’s more shocking: how much she believes him or how deeply she wants to follow him back. Now, in a world of magic and mystery, Maddie must discover her voice and her power to protect the island and the man she's come to love.

Finding out you’re a mythical being is one thing. Realizing you’re the key to saving an entire civilization? That’s something else entirely.

Loved it

What a spectacular continuation of the enchanted fated series. Each of these books can be read as a standalone, but there are cameos of characters from other books. I hope Sabrina keeps writing because I adore her characters. No one character is perfect. They struggle and need a little help in life. Just like real people do! )

Sweetness, Tension, Intrigue ★★★★☆

Dirty Lying Sirens was such a fun and immersive romantasy read for me. I really loved the chemistry between Maddie and Caspian, and their connection had that perfect mix of sweetness, tension, and intrigue that kept me invested the whole time. The Atlantis and siren elements made the story feel magical and atmospheric, and I loved watching Maddie step into who she truly is and discover her power. The plot kept things moving with enough mystery and emotion to hold my attention, and while a few...

Dirty Lying Sirens

First, I love the cover of this book. It’s what originally drew me to find out more. I’m glad I did because this story was intriguing. Atlantis and Sirens and magic. Oh, my! I was hooked from the beginning. Poor Madeline, not knowing what she is, struggled her whole life with her voice. Until she bumps into (literally bumps, and spills her coffee on him) a sexy stranger. Her chemistry with Caspian is instant. Their interactions are slow going but undeniable, as he tries to convince Madeline to...

if you can roll with Atlantis being a major part of the story, you’re in for a good time

I genuinely didn’t know what was coming next, and it turned into a full-on wild ride in the best way. We follow Maddie, who was raised by her adoptive parents, but once she’s old enough, she can’t ignore the pull she’s always felt toward the ocean. The only problem? Life by the water isn’t exactly giving “stable income,” and things start falling apart fast. She slowly loses everything — her job, her apartment, and eventually even her car — and it honestly felt like she was getting hit...

My curiosity got the better me wish it hadn’t

I think her first book dirty lying fairies was the best. The second one dirty like dragons was OK too many F bombs dirty lying, wolves wasn’t that great dirty lying sirens I think is probably the worst. Just my opinion they seem to have gone downhill. Of course books are just like art open to interpretation by each person.. )
