I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I've always liked Jason and since Cerulean Sins I have wanted to know Jason's history. While this book is out of the norm for Anita Blake fans that is what I find intriguing and keeps me coming back for more. I really enjoy these books - whereas some readers don't enjoy the direction that Anita's life has taken - it's all part and parcel of the way things are. I have to say that her life gets more and more difficult. The sexual aspect of the story is HOT - although I found it humerous that she did experience a - well - I can't go there - that would ruin it for others. Today is the audio book Blood Noir by Laurell Hamilton, it was abridge. I am reviewing this because (1)I got it,(2) I listen to it, even if by accident, my vision is getting pretty bad. So when I ordered it from amazon, I did not notice that it was (audio book) in fine print.
