I’m not new to the authors of this book, so I knew this was going to be an outstanding read. Boy was I wrong, this book FAR exceeded my expectations. I was blown away by the plot, the exceptional characters and the devious, yet delicious, twists and turns. I never knew what the next page has in store for me and I freaking loved it! I greedily read this book from cover to the last page & was left feeling conflicted in the best way possible. It ends in a cliffhanger, but it isn’t a horrific one...

This is a really good series. So far, this is book 2 and typical book 2. It wasn't a waste, so you got a lot more world. Building a lot more Intel on the characters, a lot of backstory, which was really good, still not a lot of smut. But I'm moving on to book 3. So we can see what happens there. So I think book 3 is going to be great. So I'm on to book 3 in this series. And there's only, I believe 4 books in this series, or at least I hope. So we will see if they finally escape prison. )

This book is peak Twisted Sister epicness. Snarky, fierce and queen vibe FMC - broody, broken, hot af and low key kinda crazy MMC(s) - hilarious moments, suspenseful last 10%, and the BEST smut. Sigh. I just love them so much. 🥹 This books picks up a little bit after book 1. Cain, who is like Lance Orion tbh but way meaner, crazier, and has some serious issues (he’s my fav- can you tell?) locked her away in isolation after the scenes of book 1. Not bad but also not my favorite. Love Sin Wilder, hate Cain, annoyed with Ethan and Roary. Still love Rosa and am eager to see what happens next )
