This book was a great read that has helped to stave off my reading slump the past few days. I love the different twists and turns the book took and how the ebb and flow of Aine and Damien’s relationship goes. This is such a well written story with an even better storyline. If shifter stories are your jam, this is a must read, if they aren’t then you’ll still enjoy this book despite it. Reading Rating: 4.5⭐️ ) 6 people found this helpful

I went into this one expecting a dark, angsty shifter romance, and for the first half, it absolutely delivered. The tension between the FMC and MMC was strong, the banter was genuinely entertaining, and I found myself fully invested in rooting for her. The MMC had that broody, dominant alpha energy that usually works really well for me, and there were definitely moments where the chemistry hit exactly the way I wanted it to. Unfortunately, the second half lost some momentum for me. It started...

I’d give this book five starts if it was 500 pages longer. But somehow despite wanting it to go on forever it was perfectly written. I love an enemies to lovers. I love fated mates and I looooove Alpha Damien. )
