I loved this opposites attract, shifter-witch, fated mates romance. This is a heartwarming, healing and spicy romance full of lovable, relatable and wounded characters with just a touch of angst and danger. I'd give 'A Rebel Without Claws' 3.5 stars. It was a pleasant, easy read with some seriously steamy moments. The fantasy world and characters were interesting, and I loved the West Side Story-esque vibe, with a werewolf and witch as the star-crossed lovers. I’ll be honest. The first series was SO good, I had very high expectations for this spin off. And it was ok. A kick of nostalgia for the old books, some sweet romance, an obvious hint or twelve that more books starring Celine’s siblings and cousins are coming.. that’s all fine.
