This is my first time reading this author! I was so excited to get this book as I've had it preordered for weeks. And I have to say, I really enjoyed the book! First, the general plot is interesting and intriguing. I liked the world, and the world building was good. I feel like it has a lot of similar elements of a magical fantasy world. To simply put, this book was breathtaking. Not only was it severely captivating, making me enthralled the entire time I read it, it was also easy to digest and understand. One thing that could have been delved deeper into would be the world building.
