This Author Makes Me Crave Creole Food

It is books like these that make me feel like I have traveled the world. I've never been to NOLA, but after reading this book, I swear I would know it. Clapton recreates the atmosphere like a vampire goddess. Speaking of vampires, The Binding series lays out the ruling class of vampires, the mythology, the psychology...just everything to make the reader convinced these Others are really out there living among us. As to the story, I've fallen so in love with Demien and Sybella, that I can't wait...

Yes!! Amazing sequel to The Binding!

Gets better each time! There are few things like reading a long-awaited sequel of a book you loved, only to find you love the sequel even more than the first. Because our beloved Sybella is with Demien at the end of book 1, there is a lot of enjoyment in watching those two living their love in book 2. Tension builds up quickly though, and we are kept awake past our regular bedtime hours desperately reading trying to find out why, who, where and with what! It truly was a joy to read this next...

This book was so good. This is the second book in the Binding Universe and I loved it. The only thing I can say I didn't like was Zyphilia that character got an attitude lol. Can't wait to read book 3 next. )

Great taste of New Orleans atmosphere

I enjoyed this book immensely. Author Victoria Clapton has written a well thought out story that infuses dark magic within a New Orleans setting. Her detailed writing of the city has made me want to visit there. All in all a pretty great read the only bad part about this book is that you'll have to wait to see what happens in the next installment. If you loved the first one you'll love this one. ) One person found this helpful

Intense, keep you on the edge of your seat

This book was a great continuation of the first. There was never a dull moment and so much description on everything it's like you're there in person. This has definitely become a new favorite series. The twists I never saw coming. It's hard not to love all the characters. )
