Winter Song

June 21, 2014

Winter Song has it all....romance, ghost and mystery. The writing style is heartfelt which makes the characters realistic and enjoyable. Jennifer McMurrain did a wonderful job of portraying a young woman who is unaware that her first love is haunting her. I loved everything about this book, the dialogue, characters, setting and plot. I highly encourage you to read this book, you won't be disappointed!!! This is my first book by the author and it won't be my last. ) 2 people found this helpful

Different Twist

April 14, 2014

I got this free and pretty much enjoyed the read. It does have a different twist but not to the point of putting the book down, at all. Nice plot, warmhearted people, very little \"language\", sprinkled with humor, certain scenes are, thankfully, left to your imagination. If you want to read a good romance that is not the everyday run-of-the-mill-book I would recommend this one. Would recommend it for adults. )

I did not see that one coming!

April 27, 2015

Not only did I not see the first plot surprise in this book coming, I also did not see the many plot surprises that followed coming. Loved the story and its' solid ending, and that there were very few grammatical errors, as well as the fact that this author is excellent at naming her characters, so not a \"Jake\" among the bunch. Beautiful succint descriptions of everything, including the mountains of Wyoming. .All authors and proofreaders should invest in better software or turn the spell...

Pure Pleasure

September 5, 2013

I must begin with a disclaimer--I haven't read much in the genre of paranormal romance, and what I had read up until this point left me a little disappointed. After reading Winter Song, that is no longer the case. Jennifer McMurrain has crafted a fast-paced story around well-drawn characters who, whether living or dead, capture your sympathy from their opening scenes. I particularly appreciated the elements of humor woven throughout what could have been a grim tale. Thanks to a charming and...
