Seventeen-year-old Alexis Delaney is far from your typical teenager. While she yearns for a normal life, her reality is defined by the dead who refuse to leave. As the only person capable of guiding spirits through the fractured Veil, Alexis carries the weight of souls who are trapped between worlds. After a harrowing recovery, she is finally ready to step out of the shadows and reclaim her identity, but the supernatural world has other plans for her.
The challenge reaches a breaking point when Sophie, the deceased sister of her close friends Ethan and Isaac, reveals she is ready to cross over. For Alexis, this is more than just another mission; it is a delicate balancing act of emotional vulnerability and supernatural duty. She must find the courage to confront the brothers with the truth, knowing that opening old wounds could either heal their fractured bond or tear it apart forever.
Blending haunting ghost encounters with the slow-burn intensity of a reverse harem romance, this installment thrives on deep emotional connections and high-stakes tension. It is a must-read for fans of paranormal romance who crave a story where every touch, whisper, and secret carries life-altering weight. Dive into this gripping series where the living and the dead collide in ways you never saw coming.

I can't get enough of this series. I've never reread a series immediately after reading it until this, let alone reread the same book twice in the same day like I did with Whispers From The Dead today. This book was shorter in length than the previous 3 in the series, (6+ hours to read through compared to her usual 12+), but it was exactly what the story needed to advance the storyline and help our main characters heal from the end of book 3. There is PTSD, and triggers for it that our heroine...

This book, Whispers From The Dead is just more. The Veil Diaries is just more. When is a hug more than a hug? When it's between the Tough guy and Baby. When is a kiss more than just a kiss? When it comes from any one of the guys. When is a dog more than just a dog? When it's Hades. When is a high school mean girl more than just a bit**? When it's Jessica (or Tara). See what I mean or should I go on? This book/this series is just more, it's everything! Whispers From The Dead returns the reader...

If I'm so excited that I can't wait until the next release then why didn't I give the book 5 stars? Truthfully it was a great read, but I took a star off for a couple of reasons that lean more towards personal preference than anything truly wrong with the book. The last book ended with our heroine traumatized and trying to cope, and this book starts off four months later with her still trying to come to terms with it. While everyone copes, grieves, and deals with things in their own way I hate...

This I an amazing series with wonderful characters and a storyline that draws you and makes you want to keep reading. B.L. Brunnemer is an excellent writer with an imagination that rivals some of the best writers, in my opinion. I love Lexi and her guys are amazing. I would hope at some point the cousin, Tara, would come around, but if not then her loss. Thank you B.L. for writing an exceptional series and I look forward to more in this series. )

This book series played my heart strings so many times, between crying and laughing its safe to say I didn't sleep for two days while I read books one through four. While I had already read book one multiple times over the summer I reread to have a reinforced understanding of the text and ideas of the book. As soon as I read book one I knew j was in trouble and the rest of the books would be a definite Christmas list item. The author (B.L Brunnemer) does an AMAZING job with showing the...
