My name is Charlotte, and I have a special gift: I talk to the dead. Make no mistake, I can't summon them. I'm able only to see and speak to the spirits that linger when they're unable to cross over. They're somehow weighted to the world with unfinished affairs. And for the last six years, I've relentlessly used my gift to help their lost souls.
But it's come at a price. My life is dark. Feeling despondent, I've begun to give up. And in helping the dead, I've realized I haven't allowed myself to live. With no money, no place to go, and, most importantly, no hope, I've decided there is only one option - to end it all.
Fate is a funny thing, though. One minute I'm about to leap to my death, and the next I'm saved by Ike McDermott. The strong, striking soldier stopped me from putting an end to my despair. He's the kind of man who smiles and brightens an entire room. Sweet and gentle, he's my savior - and he's dead.

My ‘Blogging Reader’s Review’ after reading ‘WHERE ONE GOES’(via:BooksMoviesFandoms.wordpress.c o m): This is the first time I’ve read something from author B. N. Toler and I’m definitely a new fan. “Where One Goes” is of the Paranormal Romance genre and it has definitely captivated me as a reader. I have to admit that this has become one of my new absolute favorite novels. This novel is the first that has made me finally dish out my first perfect 5 rating, that’s how enamored I am with this...

Two excellent books back to back. I must of won the lottery. I wonder has it ever happened when you read the most perfect 5 STAR book and the very next book you read is another perfect 5 STAR book! Well, I don't think it's happened to me, before. But now it has. When a story is good it doesn't matter what precedes it. This story was GREAT. Phenomenal. Exceptional. I was shocked too. I was a expecting very deep, very sad, very emotional read. Granted, all those things were evident in Where One...

This book was fantastic!! After hearing so many wonderful things about this book, I could not wait to get my hands on it. I absolutely fell in love with all of the characters and the storyline. I truly believe in the after life and the abilities that mediums have, so everything was very real to me. Ike, oh my goodness, I loved Ike so very much!!! He was on a mission to save his brother so that he could move on, and although he was stressed, worried, and heartbroken to see the grief that was...

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - Man, this book made me laugh & cry & feel every other emotion in between - and without any detailed sex! Imagine that! Young Charlotte has been discarded by her family because she sees dead people in limbo who need help getting their issues resolved before crossing over, to \"where one goes\" - heaven or hell, Charlotte doesn't have a clue. Charlotte has a whole set of problems that comes with this \"gift\" that keeps on giving. One night a hot soldier boy named Ike saves...

This book was heartbreaking and healing at the same time. After experiencing her own tragedy, Charlotte is able to see and hear the dead. Unable to accept her new \"gift\", her parents suggest she travel for a while. That turns into five years of loneliness and driving across the country helping the dead only she can see. Like Charlotte, these souls are wondering, looking to resolve their unfinished business so that they can cross over to whatever lies beyond the life they had. This is how she...
