by Amber Lynn Natusch
Life in Chicago is never quiet for Sapphira, especially when the city’s supernatural underworld begins to fracture. As the person responsible for cleaning up the messes left by the city’s elite, she is used to high-stakes secrets. However, when a string of mysterious murders hits the only neutral territory in the city, even she struggles to maintain control. Between a persistent, spectral stalker clutching an ancient book and the constant threat posed by a vengeful ex-boyfriend, Sapphira’s carefully constructed life is rapidly unraveling.
This gripping fourth installment of the Blue-Eyed Bomb series masterfully blends urban fantasy with the haunting allure of ghost-filled suspense. Amber Lynn Natusch delivers her signature sharp-witted snark while diving deep into a complex second-chance narrative. The historical undercurrents add a rich, dark layer to the supernatural mystery, grounding the high-octane action in a world where the past rarely stays buried.
Readers who crave a fast-paced paranormal romance filled with emotional stakes and intense character dynamics will find themselves hooked. As Sapphira’s long-held lies begin to resurface, the tension reaches a breaking point that demands your full attention. If you are looking for a series that balances dark humor, supernatural intrigue, and a dash of history, this is the perfect next obsession.

4.5 stars rounded up. All the snark that's the hallmark of Natusch's work is very evident again in this the fourth installment of her Blue Eyed Bomb series. This series just gets better and better. Muse is lovable in a hateful sort of way. Jenkins is an awesome friend. Saphira's brothers are much more involved in this one. Nyx makes several key appearances. Lies are exposed. And there is a happy ending, until the cliffhanger comes into play. All in all a great read. ) One person found this helpful

I was at a point where I thought nothing else could get any worse but of course Phira can make that happen. She can also pull out your emotions and feel for her at the same time! I truly love this series and everything it has made me feel. Anger, annoyance, love, sadness and even cheer. )

This is another great book in the series and leaves you wanting more! Absolutely love TS and Phira can’t wait for the next installment. This book really has Phira coming into her own abilities and taking responsibility for her past actions and how they have impacted her future. )
