60 Seconds Between Worlds: A Love Story Beyond Death (60 Seconds Forever Book 2)
R.J. Lumen
by Sally White
Moving from the flat plains of Nebraska to a drafty home in Maine is a massive adjustment for seventeen-year-old Rachel Sutton. But the real challenge isn’t fitting in at her new high school; it is the two teenage ghosts already occupying her bedroom. Noah and Ethan Thompson were killed in a tragic accident, and they have no intention of leaving their former home behind.
As a reluctant spirit-medium, Rachel finds herself caught in a supernatural love triangle that defies the boundaries of life and death. Ethan is a vengeful, possessive spirit obsessed with her presence, while his brother Noah is a guilt-ridden, gorgeous soul desperate to redeem himself. Torn between the warmth of her living boyfriend, Parker, and the haunting intensity of a boy who no longer breathes, Rachel must navigate a dangerous emotional landscape.
This captivating paranormal romance masterfully balances the thrill of the supernatural with the relatable heartaches of young adulthood. Sally White crafts a beautiful, clean narrative that bridges the gap between our world and the next. If you are searching for a haunting, atmospheric read that will keep you guessing until the final page, this story is the perfect addition to your shelf.

Ms. White did a great job meshing \"ghosts\" and spirituality with the real world without being too preachy or religious. She was able to bridge a gap in the YA romance world with a new twist on the ethereal. A quick read and easy to follow along chapter to chapter. I think this story has awesome potential for pre or sequels and I look forward to seeing more from this new author! )

As Rachel falls for Parker she also falls for Noah, the ghost who lived in the...

This story was absolutely beautiful. I can't express how much I enjoyed reading this. The writing was stellar - such a smooth, clean read. The author focused on the point of view of Rachel Sutton, a Nebraska transplant to Maine, living in the home of two deceased boys. Throughout her story, she acclimates to her new school, makes friends, gravitates to a boy she is interested in, and finds that her house is haunted. The writing really takes you through the emotional conflict she experiences as...

This book has all the elements I like...a strong female character that is easy to love and to root for, the perfect level of spookiness and intrigue, and a really fun storyline that just gobbles you up and doesn't spit you out until it's done with you. It's simply a lot of fun to dive in and lose yourself in this one. )

She learns to cherish every moment with her mother, a cancer survivor, who now has the chance to live out her dreams. Rachel's unrelenting optimism and support from her loved ones carry her through the unexpected drawbacks she faces. These obstacles are related to the suspenseful splashes of paranormal events Ethan brings throughout the story. The crux of...
