Midlife was supposed to be about quiet reflection, but for one woman, it has spiraled into an epic battle against the supernatural. When childhood fairy tales about changelings prove terrifyingly real, the stakes shift from mundane to mythological. Forced into a perilous quest across the Northern Lands, she finds herself navigating a dangerous alliance with a Fae prince, two loyal werewolves, and a wise owl. This is not the summer holiday she bargained for, but it is the journey she was destined to take.
Blending the haunting atmosphere of a ghost story with the regal grandeur of historical folklore, this series masterfully weaves ancient legend into modern life. As she encounters the malevolent Lord of the Dark Fae and his relentless army, the narrative leans into the dark, high-stakes tension that fans of paranormal romance crave. Between the looming threat of the Morrigan and the political machinations of the Queen of Connacht, every step along the ancient Great Highway brings her closer to a confrontation that could rewrite her fate.
With dramatic twists and a narrative that plunges into the shadows, this installment pushes the boundaries of its genre. It is a gripping exploration of destiny, royalty, and the thin veil between worlds.

Book 2 was even better than the first book. Can't wait to read book 3. Will Finn save Rosaleen? Will Peggy wake soon? Oh. the excitement and anticipation! )

This book was quite interesting. Many dramatic twists and turns to the plot. This book definitely has turned to the dark side.if )

Even though the title says The Changeling, that is only part one of this book. There are actually three parts and the third part ends on a cliffhanger. I found the story disjointed because of these three parts. I was also frustrated with Rosaleen the main character. She apparently hasn't done any research on Irish mythology. It's annoying. The characters are well developed. )
A cliffhanger! Thank goodness book three came out. Brilliantly written and easy to read. I was there on page one and didn't stop until I was finished in one sitting. Fantastic. )
