Beautifully Written Story of Love, Loss, and Love Again

It has been a very long time since I've read a book from cover to cover in less than a day. As a wife, mom of 4 busy kids, and full-time attorney, I can barely manage time sit down to eat a meal, much less relax and read a good book. Because free time is so lacking and thus precious to me, a book really needs to be amazing for me to read it. And when I say amazing, I mean the book better catch my attention within the first 15-20 pages, or I'm out. The Last Goodbye was truly that kind of amazing...

To me, the hallmark of a really great book is that it makes me think beyond its pages, to its subject’s relevance in my own life. \"The Last Goodbye\" is just such a book. This book, written so beautifully had me from the beginning. The story the author weaves and the way heaven and the afterlife are described seems completely plausible, even logical! And the romance!!
