60 Seconds Between Worlds: A Love Story Beyond Death (60 Seconds Forever Book 2)

by Jaclyn Osborn
Ivy Grove is a ghost hunter’s paradise, but for Paxton, it is simply home. As a cynical, introverted tour guide who prefers the company of his resident ghost roommate to the living, Paxton values his quiet, Victorian-clad solitude. That is, until Skyler Knox, a charming, sunshine-filled social media star, arrives with his twin brother to film their hit paranormal series. Tasked with showing them around the notoriously haunted Lockton Asylum, Paxton finds his carefully constructed walls crumbling under the weight of Skyler’s relentless optimism and undeniable good looks.
What begins as a standard investigation quickly spirals into a fight for survival. As the duo delves into the dark, tragic history of the asylum, they awaken vengeful entities that refuse to stay buried. Amidst the terrifying supernatural activity, the tension between the grumpy guide and the golden-boy investigator shifts from professional annoyance to a magnetic, high-stakes romance.
Blending spine-tingling scares with cozy, sprinkle-covered comfort, this paranormal romance is a masterclass in the grumpy-sunshine trope. Jaclyn Osborn delivers a historical mystery that is as heart-pounding as it is heartwarming. If you are looking for a spooky escape filled with sarcasm, hauntings, and undeniable chemistry, this atmospheric tale is your next obsession.

I cannot tell you how very much I love this series. Jaclyn Osborn brings her characters to life in the most believable and endearing way, and even the ghosts come alive to the readers. Her world building is top notch, and this, her latest book in this world does not disappoint. I, for one, eagerly await the next book in this series, and heartily recommend every one of these books. )

I enjoyed this story very much. The characters were interesting and the ghosts suitably creepy. Ivy Grove is a unique place! I had read the other books in the series but only vaguely remembered them but it wasn’t necessary to know (although I do recommend reading them at some point) )

This is a fantastic addition to an amazing series! I read it all night in one sitting! Couldn't wait for this one to aget published <3 Has chills and fuzzy warm feelings in the right places. Can't wait to see if Julian gets his own story next! (PLEASE?) )

Hands down my favorite of all Jaclyn’s books! I loved Paxton, Skyler, and Julian. There was heart, humor, and intrigue. I’m also REALLY hoping for Julian’s book. So much to uncover, so much love to be found. On that note… Taylor needs his own story. Callum? To be discovered. )

I loved the first two books in this series but this book fell flat and Skylar was so unlikeable. I have no idea what either of these 2 MC's saw in each other, their 'love story' was the most unrealistic part of a book about ghosts. Honestly, so many other couples would have been more enjoyable to read about, such as Alan and Julian (the actual likeable twin), Callum and Taylor or even Roy and Owen. I'd have rather this not have any romance and just been about the asylum and ghost hunting than...
