I have never not liked anything of KAK's. She writes it, I love it. That's just how life works. My only complaint, and this will not effect the star rating because it is still wonderful, is that I do not like the one shot book system she's about to be doing here. This story could have had so much more to it. I needed some stuff explained, and usually KAK does a great job of not leaving any loose ends. I needed to know how he ended up a ghost instead of just dead, how she looked like Daae, how...

Kathryn Ann Kingsley, you have done it yet again! I loved the story of the Phantom, Erik, and his beautiful Christine. It had romance, love, scary times, and so much more. I’m excited to read the next book in this series. ) One person found this helpful

3.5 Stars I have been a huge Phantom fan for a very long time, even going so far as to have \"Angel of Music\" tattooed across my stomach! I have enjoyed the movie, Broadway play and the novel, as well as other versions of this haunting tale, so when my friend sent this too me, I knew it had to be an instant read. Lovely, dark, and just a little heartbreaking

I love the writing style this author has in general and this is no exception. The tale is lovely with great pacing for a stand alone story. It's everything I've ever wanted to read after watching the phantom of the opera movie. The anti-hero/villain is a perfect combination of dark and commanding that just twists you up a bit inside. I really enjoyed that our villain was so thrilled about some small details throughout the story that really kind of sold this one to me. Great read! Highly...

I am a huge Phantom of the Opera fan. I have read the original novel, Susan Kay's retelling, and watched many renditions of the story. I was super excited to hear about this Phantom story and I couldn't wait to read it once it came out. I devoured the first half and loved the new paranormal aspects to the story.
