60 Seconds Between Worlds: A Love Story Beyond Death (60 Seconds Forever Book 2)
R.J. Lumen
by Tim O'Rourke
Step into the shadows of Nightfall, a place where the barrier between reality and dark obsession wears thin. In this chilling conclusion to the trilogy, Tim O'Rourke invites readers into a town where your deepest, most forbidden desires manifest in terrifying ways. For those who crave a paranormal romance with a sharp, lethal edge, these tales transform mundane lives into haunting encounters with the supernatural.
The narrative weaves together two gripping stories of individuals drawn to the town’s magnetic, malevolent pull. Marilyn Draper seeks to ignite a spark in her failing marriage, only to find that Nightfall grants her wishes with a monstrous twist. Meanwhile, an investigative journalist named Sarah risks her career to uncover the truth behind local legends, discovering that the horrors lurking in the woods are far more tangible—and hungry—than she ever imagined.
This collection masterfully blends gothic atmosphere with racy, high-stakes thrills. It is a cautionary tale for those who think they can flirt with the supernatural and walk away unscathed. If you are looking for a haunting escape filled with vampires, werewolves, and the twisted hand of karma, this book is your perfect, bone-chilling next read. Be careful what you wish for; in Nightfall, you always get it.

These twisted tales do not have your typical happily ever after endings yet somehow things work out as if Karma was playing her part in these stories. They certainly make you think twice about wishing your life away and they are kind of like a car crash, you do not want to look yet you cannot tear yourself away from the vision of broken souls and the sheer tragedy of it all. )

I think this one is best so far )
As with all Tims books, I was once again, riveted, and even though the Nightfall series are a collection of short stories, they are a refreshing change, absolutely loved this, great read for anyone who loves the paranormal. )
