Nora can be Gideon's redemption. Gideon can be Nora's downfall. Only love can save them both… Fallen angel Gideon has been tempting women to sin for the past four hundred years. He has never failed in his exploits. Not until he meets Nora Williams, that is. She's an unmovable wall, an unstoppable force. She tells him no when the world has always told him yes. That's why Gideon is determined to tempt her to sin. Meanwhile, Nora is still haunted by her past. Her dad left her family when she was a baby. Her mom, broken-hearted and unable to care for them both, abandoned her at an orphanage when she was only eight. Determined not to make the same mistake as her mother, she guards her chastity with her life. That's why Nora is determined never to be broken. As the two of them come head-to-head, they learn that only love can mend their tattered hearts…but will they let it?

I started this book at bedtime...big mistake. I could not put it down. I have read books with similar story lines, but none with such a powerful message that I really needed at this very moment. This is not your saucy, steamy and more often than not, raunchy romance read. It's your forever kind of meant to be love(literally). It is a rom com(the banter is actually über funny), paranormal, inspirational suprise. Sure, sure there were a few editing errors, but I was so engrossed with the story, I...

This book is a sweet romance with a hopeful message. Nora, who has a weakness for chocolate meets our Hero-Gideon. When she doesn't jump into bed with him, he pursues her. There is only some kissing and such in this book- but I certainly didn't feel as though it lacked. I really enjoyed the message. What I enjoyed about this book, his pursuit of her- the attention and time he gave her and how disconcerting she found it. I also loved the ultimate message and how it all played out. I thought it...

I loved the messages in this book! Love is a choice. The same goes for forgiveness. Nora's perseverance despite her childhood is very commendable. And because of it, she has a wall around her heart. In barges Gideon and he challenges her emotionally. At first his intentions weren't good but as he spends more time with her Nora changes him. Despite their own personal demons, they are each other's savior. Sometimes life isn't what we expect, but we need to have faith in love. It comes in various...

I thought this was a very good book. The characters are likeable and it was very entertaining. Some stories can be ruined when there is too much raunchy love scenes. This story had only kissing, and some touching which is ok with me. I liked how Gideon gave Nora a hard time and the way the two of them would clash together. I like a good romance story and this was it! I would like to see more stories like this from A.M. Evanston. When it comes to angels and demons this book had it all. ) One...

The heroine in this story was a serious chocoholic who would ignore her better instincts for chocolate. This got old about a third of the way through and I gave up. Too much protest about maintaining her virginity...but you have chocolate so tempt me. Juvenile. )
