Four hundred years of perfecting the art of temptation have left Gideon, a fallen angel, with an unblemished record. He has seduced the world, but he has never encountered anyone quite like Nora Williams. When his latest assignment turns into a battle of wills, Gideon finds himself captivated by the one woman who refuses to play by his rules. Nora is an immovable force, guarding her heart with a fierce determination born from a childhood of abandonment and broken promises.
This ghost-infused paranormal romance masterfully weaves a slow-burn narrative that transcends simple attraction. As Gideon attempts to break down Nora’s walls, he discovers that his dark influence is no match for her integrity. Their collision is not just a game of cat and mouse; it is a profound journey toward healing. While Gideon seeks to corrupt, he instead finds himself drawn into the light of a woman who demands more than just a fleeting moment of passion.
Readers will find themselves breathless as this unlikely pair navigates the delicate balance between temptation and redemption. It is a story about the courage to forgive and the life-changing power of choosing love over fear. If you are searching for a romance that balances supernatural stakes with deep emotional growth, this is the soul-stirring read you have been waiting for.

I started this book at bedtime...big mistake. I could not put it down. I have read books with similar story lines, but none with such a powerful message that I really needed at this very moment. This is not your saucy, steamy and more often than not, raunchy romance read. It's your forever kind of meant to be love(literally). It is a rom com(the banter is actually über funny), paranormal, inspirational suprise. Sure, sure there were a few editing errors, but I was so engrossed with the story, I...

This book is a sweet romance with a hopeful message. Nora, who has a weakness for chocolate meets our Hero-Gideon. When she doesn't jump into bed with him, he pursues her. There is only some kissing and such in this book- but I certainly didn't feel as though it lacked. I really enjoyed the message. What I enjoyed about this book, his pursuit of her- the attention and time he gave her and how disconcerting she found it. I also loved the ultimate message and how it all played out. I thought it...

I loved the messages in this book! Love is a choice. The same goes for forgiveness. Nora's perseverance despite her childhood is very commendable. And because of it, she has a wall around her heart. In barges Gideon and he challenges her emotionally. At first his intentions weren't good but as he spends more time with her Nora changes him. Despite their own personal demons, they are each other's savior. Sometimes life isn't what we expect, but we need to have faith in love. It comes in various...

I thought this was a very good book. The characters are likeable and it was very entertaining. Some stories can be ruined when there is too much raunchy love scenes. This story had only kissing, and some touching which is ok with me. I liked how Gideon gave Nora a hard time and the way the two of them would clash together. I like a good romance story and this was it! I would like to see more stories like this from A.M. Evanston. When it comes to angels and demons this book had it all. ) One...

The heroine in this story was a serious chocoholic who would ignore her better instincts for chocolate. This got old about a third of the way through and I gave up. Too much protest about maintaining her virginity...but you have chocolate so tempt me. Juvenile. )
