60 Seconds Between Worlds: A Love Story Beyond Death (60 Seconds Forever Book 2)

Jason Falco is a star baseball pitcher with a secret that makes him far more than a typical heartthrob; he is a shapeshifter who just wants a quiet life managing his Boston brownstone. However, tranquility is impossible when your tenants include a roster of supernatural beings, from a basement-dwelling vampire to the meddling witches living upstairs. His world gets even more complicated when Merry MacKenzie, an independent nurse, moves into the first floor and immediately captures his attention.
This lighthearted paranormal romance leans into the best of the genre, blending witty banter with a chaotic community of supernatural neighbors. Just as Jason decides to trade his playboy lifestyle for a shot at real love, Merry’s hesitation—fueled by the tabloid rumors surrounding his reputation—threatens to keep them apart. When a ghost refuses to accept the building’s new reality, the stage is set for a hilarious, high-stakes collision of worlds.
If you are hunting for your next fun and breezy read, this delightful series opener is the perfect escape. With a quirky cast of characters and a slow-burn romance that relies on a little supernatural intervention, it is a charming, feel-good story that proves love is truly stranger than fiction.

I loved this story! The characters were outrageous! The new tenant in town with the hots for the shapeshifter landlord (unbeknownst to her), the nosey ghost who refuses to accept change, the werewolf, the shapeshifter raven and the two witches who earn their money by running a sex and psychic hotline was original! I really hope that the author continues to make a series of these characters because they have become dear to my heart. I completed the book in one day. Before I read the second one,...

This is the first book in a series, the second is A Werewolf Upstairs (My Review of Werewolf Upstairs) I accidentally read these out of order so I knew how Strange Neighbors ended before I read it. I loved both books and even though I knew the ending it was great finding out how the story built up to that point. It's a great story and a light, fun read with lovable characters and a few laugh out loud moments! Next in the series is The Vampire Next Door which I am really looing forward to! The...

What a great and fun time I had reading this book. Can't wait to get to the others. This book is exactly what it was intended to be... FUN! Other readers have given this book low grades, but I guess they didn't see it for what it is. I'm retired and have been reading 2 books a week for a long time, so I'm familiar with various writing styles. The editing was good - mistakes were almost non-existant. All you need to do is sit back and start reading. Then laugh! Feel good! Enjoy yourself! ) 18...

I love light reads and paranormal romance. This looked like an excellent plot and a creative premise so I purchased it. Lovely cover...lovely back. I waded in and was instantly awash in the overly cliche characters and the noneffective sexual tension that leapt to the forefront immediately. But hey, it's a light read, so I settled down for a campy silly romp and hoped it picked up speed. I'm sorry to say, as I got deeper, I grew bored instead of addicted. The plot looked great. The cover is...
