Siren's Test: Siren Series, Book 2

by Jessica Cage

About this book

Syrinada is fighting for her survival, but the stakes have never been higher. Forced to undergo the Naiad’s Walk, she must prove her worthiness to reclaim the dormant siren magic stolen from her ancestors. This brutal gauntlet, designed as a punishment by vengeful witch covens, is the only shield she has against the threats closing in on her. If she fails, she loses her power; if she succeeds, she risks losing everything else.

The tension only escalates when she considers leaving Malachi, her brooding protector, behind in his grief. Their dynamic is the quintessential grumpy-sunshine pairing, fueled by deep emotional dependency and the weight of shared trauma. As they navigate the complexities of their found-family, Syrinada realizes that her quest for liberation might inadvertently shatter the very man she is desperate to shield.

This gripping paranormal romance masterfully blends high-stakes ghost and supernatural lore with the intimate intensity of academy-style trials. Readers will be pulled into a world where every choice carries a heavy price and the line between salvation and destruction is razor-thin. If you are looking for a pulse-pounding, heart-wrenching series that delivers both magical mystery and authentic, messy character growth, dive into this addictive installment today.

This series is so good and so seamless, I swear I missed going from book 1 to book 2!! Quick pause then on to book 3. I love not knowing what is coming next. Her characters are authentically writing themselves in a unique story like nothing I have ever read. You think it it going one way but will continue to be surprised. )

This book held its own. Some things that occurred made me sad but I understood the choices made. Ultimately I really wish she could catch a break. Wishful thinking for the 3rd! )

This book so many ups and downs and terms with my emotions oh my God! I’m not gonna yell at you this time ! 10 out of 10 I recommend two was just as good as book one not sure if I did a book review omit ‘however what the heck happened to verrah I have so many questions and the fact that you keep these stories crazy! Tell your editor to start using spellcheck when they edit your books also! Few spelling errors! But definitely not your fault. It’s your editor’s ) One person found this helpful
