Sure, the place is historical, but it hasn’t been kept up at all. The lily pad pond was leaking, the shrubs overgrew the statues and the flowerbeds were buried under layers of leaves. As for the mansion, it was turned into a boarding house. So maybe some of those strange things happening are just some of the other tenants practical joking: things have gone missing or been rearranged, odd items are left as offerings, and it feels like Rosie did the very same things not a day or two before . . .
