Revolution

by Adrienne Dunning

About this book

Nate Emerson has spent years trapped in the suffocating shadow of his own grief, living a life defined by loss inside his family’s weathered colonial homestead. When Meg Grey, a woman desperately fleeing her own dark past, arrives seeking anonymity in the historic town of Yorktown, she expects nothing more than a quiet place to hide. Instead, she finds herself tethered to a man who is just as broken as she is, and a property that refuses to let its occupants rest in peace.

This haunting paranormal romance masterfully weaves together the weight of history and the healing power of connection. As Nate and Meg attempt to restore the neglected farmhouse, they discover they are not the only ones lingering within its walls. The boundary between the present and the past begins to blur, as restless spirits from a Revolutionary War battlefield demand to be heard.

Surrounded by spectral whispers and the echoes of a long-forgotten conflict, two guarded souls must confront their personal demons. Will the lingering ghosts of the revolution tear them apart, or will they find the courage to rewrite their futures together? Perfect for readers who love atmospheric historical settings and spine-tingling supernatural tension, this story proves that some bonds are strong enough to transcend time.

Struck down too soon, William Abbott longs to be reunited with his...

Watching Nate and Meg let go of the pain from their pasts was heartwarming. Dunning had me rooting for these characters from the beginning. The battlefield scenes were so eerily written that I could almost see the fog rolling through and smell the gunpowder from the cannons. I loved the ending and how everything worked out and...
