Reaper's Delight

Randal Moore was on the verge of finally achieving his dream. His first book of a planned trilogy was about to be picked up by a major publisher, but something happened that threw a wrench into the whole thing. His death. Ending up in Purgatory, he is given the opportunity to work for Death as one of his many reapers to help him judge the recently deceased and usher them to whatever afterlife they deserve.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, Randal’s mourning girlfriend Minerva is now the one who has to manage the situation with Randal’s book after the publisher tells her that they are interested in continuing the series with a ghost writer. Now she has to not only find Randal’s notes, but decide if she wants to hand off the story that he always dreamt of bringing to life to a complete stranger.

The two now must figure out how to go on without the other in their life, or afterlife in Randal’s case.
