This time Julie Kenner dips in the occult a new struggle for Nikki and Damien. Nikki's admiration for a deceased movie star has Damian buying her the Stars journal and a bracelet. He goes a step further in buying Nikki the Star's home. The house is possessed by the stars spirit and her husband who tragically killed her. Both Nikki and Damian are possessed by their spirits and have to fight off this evil. Their only survival is the love they have for each other. Loved it. )

This story is such an original storyline for Damian and Nikki. The title of this book is true to the story, for sure. No, it’s not the norm for their stories, but anything Damian and Nikki are okay with me. They are at a getaway alone and purchase a bracelet of Nikki’s favorite actress, and also a cottage that she owned. The bracelet has a demon attached to it. Nikki gets taken over by her favorite actress and Danian get taken over by the demon. Wow, the struggles are real, but their love holds...

love the stark series.. this book though, not so much.

Where the stark series is an amazing series that I myself couldn’t put down. This book where it kept you wanting to know what happens next, feels as though this should have been a stand alone and not part of the stark series. Just simply doesn’t fit Stark. ) One person found this helpful

I usually love the Damien and Nikki books but this was awful. It’s not even the supernatural element—- even though it was really bad—- but that this had absolutely none of them that I have loved throughout all their stories! Might have worked better if it was a new story with new characters but this was just so bad and disappointing ) 2 people found this helpful
