This is a voluntary review from receiving an advanced reader copy. I went into this one with high hopes. What’s not to love right? Friends to lovers and a haunted mansion as well. I did struggle to finish this one though. The first 2/3s of the book was great. Good pacing. Good character development. Good scene setting. Then, for whatever reason, it fell a little flat. Maybe it’s because I’m a mood reader but who knows. I’ll try and read this one again when I’m in a better frame of mind and I’ll...

I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a complimentary copy. Leo and Ren have been best friends for a couple of years. Leo own a construction company, hates scary stuff. Ren is an accountant who loves scary stuff. I really enjoyed the opening chapter with the haunted house and Leo reaction. I am not a fan of clowns myself, creepy much. Ren wants to leave her current employer and go to another company in town but Leo said the owner likes for his employees to have an understanding of...
